Trained in Barkan – 200 hr
Fun Fact: I love boating with my family and friends at Falls Lake.
Born and raised in Syracuse, NY, I spent my summers growing up at my family’s “camp” in the Thousand Islands and moved to Raleigh in 2011. I was always an avid runner but was inspired to try hot yoga by my cousin. I’ve always loved the heat and was up for a new challenge so I decided to give it a shot. I discovered Indigo Hot Yoga in early 2016, took my first hot yoga class ever, and left thinking what just happened to me!?! I was immediately hooked and had to go back. My practice evolved from an occasional class to a passion and curiosity to learn more. The no judgment, leave your worries at the door environment really helped me feel a part of something bigger than me.
Yoga helped me balance the stress of everyday life, work and family through using my breath and focusing on living life in the present. Learning how to let go of things that no longer served me, and taking my practice off my mat. Once I was able to connect it all together, everything made sense. I decided to enter into Indigo’s YTT in 2018 and graduated with my RYT200 in May of 2019. I am excited have the opportunity to be able to show others use this practice to take their yoga with them off the mat. I can’t wait to meet you on the mat!
