As a child growing up in Washington NC. I began teaching dance at the age of 14 initially, teaching Ballet, Tap, Jazz, Baton and Ballroom. As life progressed I moved to Raleigh to attend William Peace -University, where I graduated with my Liberal Studies Degree and was Choreographer of The Year for 4 years which was been first time in Peace’s History. I currently hold master classes for their Theater and Dance Departments.

After Graduation my aspirations for dance led me to develop a Creative Movements Program for Bright Horizons Family Solutions for Children ages 2-15. I recently graduated from Indigo Hot Yoga Center with my Yoga Teacher Certification and have begun subbing there as well as teaching yoga specifically or athletes at William Peace University. Movement has always been a part of my life it is an expression that tells a story without words with art. It has become a part of who I am and gives me the purpose to continue teaching dance.
